FIRE & FLOWERS The Work of Brooke and Jason Evans
Fire and Flowers is what we have named our collaborative, creative expressions. Our work reflects both the beauty and harshness we experience in the world. All of our work is one-of-a-kind; conveying a certain amount of thought and attention that you just can’t buy off the shelf at a chain store. All of our work is created with as many recycled, organically and fairly-traded material as we can get our hands on for a reasonable price. We are a couple that has been together for over 15 years. We both grew up in San Diego, CA and currently live in the South Park neighborhood of metro San Diego.
I am a mom, wife, artisan, bookkeeper, notary and holistic health counselor, trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and am certified through the Teacher’s College at Columbia University. Combining these two passions, I facilitate Justice Kitchen and Make Something Day workshops from time to time. I am married to Jason Evans and we have three wonderful children.
I am a husband, father, writer, musician, co-founder of the Ecclesia Collective, an instigator behind Make Something Day, a Fuller Seminary student and am employed by First Presbyterian Church of San Diego. I am married to the amazing Brooke Evans and have three heroes: my kids.
